Batista Out for Four Months

Less than 48 hours after capturing the WWE Championship for the first time in his career, Batista has suffered a completely torn left bicep requiring surgery that will keep him out of action for at least four months.

Two Championship Matches Confirmed for WWE 3-For-All Next Monday
It was announced during the Smackdown taping tonight that this Monday night on Raw there will be a Four Way Match to determine the new WWE Champion. The match will feature John Cena vs Big Show vs Triple H vs Randy Orton.
Additionally, it was announced that Tommy Dreamer will face Christian for the ECW Championship on the 3 hour Raw special.

6/8/09 RAW Rating
Monday night’s RAW pulled a final 3.6 cable rating, a decent jump from last week’s 3.4 number. The show did hours of 3.33 and 3.89. One would assume the jump is due to the events of the Extreme Rules PPV

Who’s The Champ?
WWE.com officially ruled last night’s Raw match between Randy Orton and Batista a “No Contest.” Therefore Batista is still the WWE Champion at this point, and will most likely relinquish the title next week on Raw’s 3 hour special and a new champion will be crowned.

Here’s the current card for for TNA’s Slammiversary PPV on June 21st.
-Mick Foley vs Jeff Jarrett vs AJ Styles vs Samoa Joe vs three wrestlers to be determined in a King of the Mountain match for the TNA Title.
-Suicide vs Jay Lethal vs Consequences Creed vs Alex Shelley vs Chris Sabin in a King of the Mountain match for the X Division Title.
